Feature Request - Full Parameter Support & TCP/IP for Philips MX550/MX750 in Animal Research #725

Hi VitalDB Team,

Thank you for this fantastic open-source software—it's a game-changer for research data logging!

We're facing a limitation with our Philips IntelliVue MX550 and MX750 monitors during large animal experiments at Nord University. We use the full range of invasive pressure labels (e.g., Art, PA, CVP, ICP, P1, P2, P3, P, IC1, IC2, etc.) plus comprehensive ventilator data from Hamilton and Engström devices interfaced to the monitors via IntelliBridge modules.

These monitors export all parameters via both serial (RS-232) and TCP/IP ports—we successfully collect everything using ICU Pilot and ICM+. However, Vital Recorder appears limited to a subset of ~12 parameters with fixed labels.

Requests:

• Enable collection of all monitor-output parameters, or add user-selectable options for full customization.

• Support direct TCP/IP acquisition (instead of serial only) to minimize cable clutter in our lab.
