Draeger Infinity Delta not connecting with Vital Recorder #737

Hi all, 

I am working with a Draeger Infinity Delta patient monitor. As required, I have procured the Export Protocol Cable, configured the setting for the X5 port in Biomed as Export Protocol and connected the cable to my laptop using a RS232 to USB Serial Adapter. Vital Recorder shows "connecting" status for a brief moment and then disconnects. This happens multiple times, but no data is obtained. Has anyone faced this issue and would anyone happen to know how to resolve it?
