Is it possible to connect a Philips patient monitor MX800 using its RS232 ethernet cable directly to the network socket on a laptop?
This did work using the ixtrend free download sample.

Vital Recorder supports serial communication. You need to connect to the laptop using a serial port or serial to USB converter.
